Hub365 Solves Recruitment Challenge For Partridge of Hampshire

Highly effective Hub365 member collaboration has helped Partridge of Hampshire fill a mix of vacancies with top quality candidates in super quick time.

Partridge of Hampshire MINI is Hampshire’s largest MINI retailer – selling an extensive range of new and used vehicles as well as running a busy and reputable service department.

In November 2020, Partridge of Hampshire approached Hub365 member – and interim cover specialist – Calibre Group Solutions, to provide expert short-term cover for a Brand Manager vacancy that had arisen within the business.

During the final stages of arranging cover, a second nationwide lockdown was announced which meant a change in approach – as Partridge of Hampshire concluded they were able to temporarily cover the position for the lockdown period.

However, while that addressed an immediate challenge, there was still a need for a long-term solution – and that’s where Hub365 came to the fore.

As a Hub365 member, Calibre Group Solutions was very much in this collaborative mindset and knew immediately that a fellow member, Time Zero Recruitment, was ideally placed to help provide a permanent recruitment option to fill the vacant MINI Brand Manager seat.

So, introductions were made, a brief was agreed and Time Zero set to work on looking for the perfect candidate.

Motor industry specialists

Given their automotive retail experience, specialised focus and extensive network, Time Zero quickly identified a collection of potential candidates for the position. Having lived and breathed automotive retail themselves, the Time Zero team has an intimate knowledge of what it takes to succeed in the Brand Manager role and applied this understanding to the job at hand.

After a series of telephone, and online interviews, two high quality candidates were put forward to Partridge of Hampshire for final assessment. Following this, a job offer was made with the candidate for the MINI Brand Manager role starting in early January 2021.

The good news doesn’t stop there.

During the MINI Brand Manager recruitment campaign another candidate stood out and has now accepted a job offer to join the Partridge of Hampshire BMW team.

Time Zero Recruitment has also helped find two Sales Executives to join the Partridge of Hampshire team. A total of five potential Sales Executives were put forward, four were interviewed and two accepted the job offers made.
